HobbyClues Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the HobbyClues Android application, iOS application, website, marketplace, and related digital services.

HobbyClues is operated under the trade name HobbyClues. By accessing or using HobbyClues through an Android device, iOS device, website, or other supported platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application, website, marketplace, or related services.

2. About HobbyClues

HobbyClues is a marketplace and information platform for coins, banknotes, collectibles, and related numismatic content.

HobbyClues may provide services through its Android application, iOS application, website, and other supported digital platforms.

The application and website may allow users to:

  • Browse collectible listings
  • Publish advertisements
  • Contact sellers through messaging features
  • View seller profiles and listings
  • Scan or analyze coins
  • Receive AI-generated coin information
  • Use promotional listing features
  • Manage account information
  • Report listings that may violate these Terms

HobbyClues does not necessarily own, inspect, authenticate, or sell items listed by users.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms to use HobbyClues. If you use HobbyClues on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

4. User Accounts

You may create or access an account using Sign in with Apple or another authentication method made available by HobbyClues.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your account information current
  • Protect access to your account
  • Notify us if your account is accessed improperly
  • Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account

HobbyClues may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or platform safety requirements.

5. Sign in with Apple

HobbyClues may use Apple's Sign in with Apple service for account registration and authentication on supported devices and platforms.

  • Apple may provide your name and email address during initial authorization.
  • Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your personal email address.
  • Apple may not provide your name or email during later authorizations.
  • HobbyClues may securely store information necessary to maintain your account.
  • If Apple does not provide an email address, HobbyClues may ask you to provide one or create an internal account identifier.

Your use of Sign in with Apple is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and privacy policies.

6. Android Application

HobbyClues may provide an Android application that allows users to access marketplace features, create and manage listings, upload images, communicate with other users, use coin-related services, and access other available features.

Use of the Android application may be subject to Google's applicable terms, Google Play policies, and other applicable platform requirements.

The Android application may require certain device permissions depending on the features you use, including permissions relating to camera, photos or media, notifications, and location.

You may control these permissions through your Android device settings. Denying certain permissions may limit or prevent corresponding application functionality.

7. iOS Application

HobbyClues may provide an iOS application that allows users to access marketplace features, create and manage listings, upload images, communicate with other users, use coin-related services, and access other available features.

Use of the iOS application may be subject to Apple's applicable terms, App Store policies, and other applicable platform requirements.

The iOS application may require certain device permissions depending on the features you use, including permissions relating to camera, photos, notifications, location, and Sign in with Apple.

You may control these permissions through your iOS device settings. Denying certain permissions may limit or prevent corresponding application functionality.

8. Marketplace Listings

Users may publish listings containing photographs, descriptions, prices, locations, and other information.

The user who publishes a listing is responsible for:

  • The accuracy of the listing
  • The legality of the item
  • Authenticity and condition claims
  • The price and availability
  • Responding to buyer enquiries
  • Completing or cancelling transactions

HobbyClues does not guarantee that any listing is accurate, authentic, available, or suitable for purchase.

9. Transactions Between Users

HobbyClues may provide communication tools that allow buyers and sellers to contact each other.

HobbyClues is not a party to transactions between users and is not responsible for payment, delivery, shipping, authentication, item condition, ownership, fraud, disputes, or failure to complete a transaction.

Users should independently verify items and transaction details before making payment or transferring property.

10. User Content

Users retain ownership of content they submit, including photographs, descriptions, and listing information.

By submitting content to HobbyClues, you grant HobbyClues a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and promote the application and services.

You confirm that:

  • You own or have permission to use submitted content.
  • Your content is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • Your content does not violate another person's rights.
  • Your content is not unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading.

11. Prohibited Activities

You must not use HobbyClues to:

  • Publish illegal, fraudulent, stolen, or prohibited items
  • Misrepresent authenticity, rarity, grade, condition, or ownership
  • Upload misleading or deceptive information
  • Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse another user
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to access another user's account
  • Circumvent security or authentication controls
  • Interfere with application operation
  • Upload malicious code or harmful content
  • Use HobbyClues for unlawful purposes

HobbyClues may remove content and restrict accounts that violate these requirements.

12. AI Coin Analysis and Valuation

HobbyClues may provide AI-powered coin identification, analysis, estimated valuation, rarity information, or condition-related information.

This information is provided for general informational and reference purposes only. It is not professional appraisal, authentication, certification, investment advice, grading, or a guarantee of market value.

Actual value may depend on authenticity, grade, condition, rarity, provenance, demand, market conditions, and other factors.

You should consult a qualified expert before relying on AI-generated information for a purchase, sale, insurance decision, or investment.

13. Promotional and Digital Services

HobbyClues may offer digital promotional features such as Premium Listing, Move to Top, Highlight, and other visibility features.

The applicable price, duration, and benefits will be shown before purchase. Promotional services do not guarantee a sale, buyer, views, enquiries, or a specific result.

14. Payments

Paid services may be processed through Apple payment systems, Google Play payment systems, third-party payment providers, or other payment methods made available by HobbyClues.

Prices, taxes, currency, and payment terms will be displayed before purchase where applicable.

Purchases made through Apple or Google Play may also be subject to the applicable platform's payment terms, refund procedures, and store policies.

15. Digital Service Delivery

Promotional and other paid features are digital services. After successful payment, the purchased feature may be activated according to the product description.

No physical delivery or shipping applies to digital services.

Availability and activation of digital services may depend on successful payment confirmation and the relevant payment or app-store platform.

16. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are subject to the applicable HobbyClues refund and cancellation policies.

Purchases made through Apple may be subject to Apple's refund procedures and App Store policies.

Purchases made through Google Play may be subject to Google's applicable refund procedures and Google Play policies.

17. Service Availability

We aim to keep HobbyClues available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The application or website may be unavailable because of maintenance, network failures, device or operating-system issues, hosting failures, database failures, third-party service failures, security incidents, app-store restrictions, or events outside our reasonable control.

18. Reporting Content

Users may report listings they believe are spam, fraudulent, unlawful, misleading, or otherwise in violation of these Terms.

Submitting a report does not guarantee removal or any specific action. False, abusive, or deliberately misleading reports may result in account restrictions.

19. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your HobbyClues account through the application where the account deletion feature is available.

Account deletion may remove or disable:

  • Your account
  • Your listings
  • Saved account information
  • Favorites
  • Gamification or related account data

Some information may be retained where required by law, necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or maintain legally required records.

Account deletion may be permanent and cannot necessarily be reversed.

20. Privacy and Analytics

HobbyClues may process information necessary to provide the application and website, including account information, listing information, communication data, device information, location information, and usage information.

HobbyClues may use analytics services to understand application usage, improve features, monitor performance, and identify errors.

21. Third-Party Services

HobbyClues may use third-party services including Apple Sign in with Apple, Apple App Store services, Google Play services, Firebase, hosting providers, databases, payment providers, analytics providers, communication providers, notification providers, and AI technology providers.

Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and availability requirements.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.

22. Intellectual Property

The HobbyClues name, branding, logos, application design, software, text, graphics, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit HobbyClues content except where permitted by law or with written permission.

23. Disclaimer

HobbyClues is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that listings are accurate or genuine, AI results are correct, services are always available, communications are delivered, users complete transactions, items sell, or promotional services produce a particular result.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, HobbyClues will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary losses arising from use of the application or website, AI-generated information, transactions between users, user fraud, loss of data, loss of account access, third-party services, listing removal, or account suspension.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

25. Changes to These Terms

HobbyClues may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be published through the application or website with a new “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of HobbyClues after an update means that you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

26. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes relating to these Terms or HobbyClues services will be subject to the applicable courts and jurisdiction in India.
