1954 Indian 1/2 Rupee Coin

This is a vintage 1954 Indian 1/2 Rupee coin. The obverse side features the Lion Capital of Ashoka with the inscription 'GOVERNMENT OF INDIA'. The reverse side shows the denomination '1/2 RUPEE' with the year 1954 and wheat ears on either side. A great collectible coin from mid-20th century India.
